Pattaya Airways, the new cargo airline based in Thailand, has officially obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. This marks a significant step forward for the company, which has been working for nine months to achieve this goal.

A subsidiary of the Pattaya Group, Pattaya Airways plans to launch its cargo operations later this year, using two recently acquired ATR 72-500 freighter aircraft. The company will focus on cargo services within Thailand and on international routes across Asia, with a fleet of five aircraft.

Pattaya Airways has also signed a strategic partnership agreement with ACE Global Logistics to boost the efficiency of its airfreight services. This partnership is designed to leverage the resources and expertise of both companies, to meet the growing needs of customers in the ASEAN region and to expand their respective business networks.
